Social Saturday #4 - Quotes | April

Hello all! So your probably thinking this is a bit of an odd blog post, people don't usually don't talk about quotes, but I think we should more. I know some can be cheesy, but when you really need a confidence boost or a bit of motivation, a little quote never hurt nobody, so I thought I would share with you some of my favorite quotes/pictures that make me SMILE when I'm feeling down!

So I hope you enjoyed having a look at this cute quotes and maybe saved them someday for an inspirational instagram post! This is a bit of a different thing for me to do, since I don't really blab on that much, it's a more picture themed, but I will be bringing back the social in "Social Saturday" next time, but I thought a little change wouldn't hurt!

Spring Playlist | April 2015

Hello all! Welcome to another playlist post, where I share the songs I have been listening to each season. I did one of these at Christmas, so I thought I could do one of these at Spring and Summer, because I listen to music almost all the time, so I'll get right to it!

One artists songs I've been liking is MALI-KOA HOOD. Not many people have heard of her, but she was recently featured in a single by Ben Hazlewood (who's also great) and I think she really is amazing, and deserves to be noticed so she can release some tracks! The single I'm talking about is PAINT ME BLACK, and while you listen to that, check out the Matthew Parker remix of the song (if your into more up-beat things like me!) Also if you can't tell she's Calum Hood's (from 5 second of summer) sister - what a talented pair!

Next I've chosen a band called ALL TIME LOW. These guys are great and I can't believe I hadn't heard of them till a couple months ago! They are kind of a punk band, but they cover lots of different genre's in that one main category, which I always love because everyone has at least one reason to like them. My favorite songs from them is: MISSING YOU, KIDS IN THE DARK and SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE.

Also, I've been listening to an artist, who is so talented, its SIA. She is most notably known for the songs: CHANDELIER and ELASTIC HEART but no one really goes into depth of the other songs she has, but when my dad bought the CD, I couldn't resist to listen to the others, and I found some real gems that you should listen to: FREE THE ANIMAL and EYE OF THE NEEDLE. I see Sia a mash up of different types of music; she's unique in her voice!

I hope you enjoyed having a read through this post. Since music is a big part of my little life, I really love sharing who I've been listening to and chatting about new artists - I think its amazing how many singers are out there, all amazingly talented!

Tester Review | Rimmel BB Cream - Radiance |

Hello all and welcome to a review/opinions post. I wouldn't usually do one of these posts, but since I had lots of little tester packets from magazines, what have I got to loose? This series of posts will go on for as long as I have the testers, and right now I have enough to last me six months, so I'll get straight to it!

The first tester I tried out was the RIMMEL LONDON BB CREAM - RADIANCE. Now, I'm not that great with BB creams, but i thought this one was exceptionally fab! First off, it smelt of oranges, and felt so fresh and light on my face, which is what the sample said it would be like. Then when I put it on, it covered well on any patchs of different colours, so if you are an everyday makeup user, treat it as a foundation, but if you don't wear makeup that much, it's useful for outings!

So since it had such great coverage, I only had to put some clear powder over the top and it was done, so I really enjoyed the easiness of applying it (I'm lazy!) It does also add a great glow to the face (like in the name of the product - `radiance`), so this has got to be a summer must have,  it doesn't go all shiny on your face too, but I do suggest using some type of powder over the top, just to control it.

I would probably buy this product/I want it now! It ticks all the boxes on what I would expect in a BB cream, and its great for summer too (its spf 20!) Lastly, for people who like to get makeup off in a rush, then this is the product for you. Wearing powder over the top will make it harder to remove, but you don't want the BB cream to come off so easily in the day (when you blow your nose or something) so make sure you use powder!!

I hope you enjoyed reading through this post. I love reviewing products, and I can't wait to review some more!

My April Wishlist | 2015

Hello all and welcome to a monthly wishlist! So if you haven't noticed, all the things I haven't done in a while, I'm trying to catch up on and that's why I'm doing a wishlist since the last time was in November, so Ill get right to it.
So with spring now here, loads of new things have to be bought - its a new season! This means that brands will be trying to get lots of new products out to us as possible, so that's why this wishlist may have more than usual...

I want to start with shoes, which I may not get now, but maybe later in life. They are the CAT BOOTS and they are to.die.for!! They have a bunch of new styles and colours for them, I'm thinking a new trend?!

The next thing I'm wanting is a new cleanser/moisturizer. I've used so many in the past, and I've never found a one that I have adored! So, I have seen one at lush, and I think it look so nice, and from the skin lush products I'm using now, I'm pretty impressed.

Also, my aim for the next few months is to purchase a benefit product (whether that be bronzer, mascara or eyeliner) because I have heard so many great things about their products and I absolutely love the packaging, so their doing a good job at selling it to me, I just need to find the right time to get something (I really want the mascara!)

Lastly, I am wanting some sunglasses, but no just any old pair, some that are cat eyed. I think
they suit everyone, and since summer is coming up soon, it's about time I threw away my old primark ones. I managed to spot online a pair on New Look and Topshop, so I'll be sure to get one from somewhere.

I hope you enjoyed having a read through my wishlist, if you want to go see my last wishlist (November) here it is:http://britishblog120.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/my-november-wishlist-2014.html and I'll talk to you soon!
